She made me stay during my lunch to sing...."OOOOOOOOOO" because I told her I couldn't sing. If nothing else I can now s "OOOO"

If anyone is trying to get in touch with Dr. McLin, I have her phone number. I haven't called her in 8 years but I will pass it if you contact me. I miss choir. I loved how we sounded; such rich voices. And GAWD!!! Wasn't everyone blown away by Kim English??? I was!

I loved being in the choir throughout high school. i used to think she was so rough & tough on us. But I am just as hard on my girls with their singing and dancing. They do not get to rest until it is right. I really miss her. I plan to have them meet her very soon.

How many of you all remember how hard she used to stomp her feet when she was playing the piano while the choir was singing "Preach the Word"? Or, do you remember how hard she would play the piano on the song, "What Will Put Under Your Christmas Tree"?

Hey everybody. My favorite moments in choir with Lena Mac was when she would have the class stand in a semi circle and then she would begin to "read" us.....Those of you who've been privy to her "reading" the class, weren't you praying that she wouldn't reveal something about you while you were in the circle? Flashback......."We're your dreamgirls, boy, we'll make you happy". Jennifer Hudson better aks somebody! And why did I always have to play the villian in the school plays! Im still working that our in therapy. WOW, being in choir with some of the most talented youth in the city was the highlight of my highschool career. That and Kyle Haggerty tap dancing right through the props at one of our concerts. Whew.......the momories are flooding back.

Ok, I was not somebody who could "blow" but I could carry a tune and I loved being in choir. My most favorite memories are of the Christmas concerts and watching Charlean and/or Tammy McCann sing that "Merry Christmas" song with Rob (ert Kelly)
